Leading implies the creation and activation of suitable organizational structures. An organizational structure cannot be perceived uncoupled from its members and in particular from its executives. On the other hand, even the most highly qualified leaders and managers will utilize only part of their potential for the company’s benefit if they have to act within a structure which is suboptimal. Maximum efficiency can only be attained if both are tailored or, if necessary, adapted to each other. We develop propositions and concepts which are aimed at an optimization of the organizational structure.
