Based on a short and systematically structured questionnaire, executives assess qualified managers (of downstream hierarchical level or talented junior staff) of their department. The benchmark results are displayed in a clear and comprehensible nine block matrix illustrating capability and reasonable development options of the managers in question. This overview serves as a starting point for the ensuing in-depth discussion of each manager. The exercise’s purpose consists in assessing as precisely as possible the current status of existing potential (both individually and for the executive population as a whole), identifying isolated cases of development measures needed, and tagging the requirement of additional qualified manpower when indicated. REUSCH IBC supports the entire process according to customer demands by applying the HCP tool and interpreting the resulting findings in a first step, as well as through implementing possible development measures derived from the latter in a second step.
